On the Value of Faith
Keynote speeches place spotlight on the magnanimity of the Catholic faithful
“My strength is on reliance in my faith so that I don’t get carried away from the strong currents of this river. But, be assured that I will not drown if I continue to trust God.”
Batch Representative John Mark D. Mata, a Bukidnon native and Angelicum Foundation scholar, describes his life journey as a fickle river during his graduation speech. Quiet one moment, raging the next. He continues to credit his achievements at Dualtech, and his strides in his chosen profession, to his faith—a beacon of light that guides him to the path he needs to take.
How the constant pursuit of excellence pushed Dualtech scholars to succeed
“In the near future, when we would have settled and carved our own places in different companies, maybe some of us would have gone abroad and more so and many of us would have done good and improved their lives and others as well. Do not forget to give back to others what we ourselves have received so that there will be continuity, and the seeds that were planted to become mature trees now bear more fruits and seeds to be sown again. All good seeds and good fruits for a bountiful harvest.” – John Mark D. Mata, from Valencia City Bukidnon | Scholar, Angelicum Foundation | Trained at Susalum Corporation
– Jezreel A. Belecina, Batch Representative | Awardee, Silver Merit and Outstanding In-Plant Performance
Last May 18, 2019, the Dualtech Alumni Association hosted the first IT Summit at Dualtech’s study hall. The event was attended by more than 200 Dualtech alumni, partners, students, teachers and staff.
“Ang kagandahan sa Dualtech at sa kanyang adopted dual system, una, you got exposed to various skills,” he said. “ Mayroong electrical, mechanical, electronics and automation. From that platform, hindi mo pa man alam which particular specialization [you would pursue], it opens many doors for you to explore. Ako, initially, I wanted to become an electrical engineer. Just so happened that my exposure was in automation and robotics. So madami talagang oportunidad.”
